Welcome to Healthy Living Counseling

Many times we feel tangled in unhealthy habits, relationships or emotions. Try as we might, sometimes we just can’t get free. That is when most people seek counseling. Our practice focuses on helping our clients reach their personal life goals to help them  feel their best emotionally and physically….what we like to call Healthy Living!

Our psychotherapists and nutritionists provide a wide range of psychotherapy and counseling services, nutritional education and consultation services with sense of compassion and professionalism that only comes from many years of professional experience.

In your very first counseling appointment, we will formulate realistic goals and develop a plan to make those changes a reality. Whether you want to feel less anxious or depressed, change your eating habits, quit smoking or improve your relationships, counseling can help.  We know that it takes courage to reach out for support and guidance when making life changes.  For that reason, we go to great lengths to help you feel comfortable and informed in the counseling and/or consulting process.

Regardless of the mental health or nutritional issue which you may struggle with, life is too short to spend one more day feeling unhappy or unhealthy, so take the first step in living a happier and healthier life and give us a call. We offer a free 5 minute phone consultation to answer your questions and to ensure that we are the most qualified professionals to help you reach your goals for new lifestyle changes which will help you lead a more healthy and happier YOU.

Individual Counseling

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD, marriage and relationship strain, have been diagnosed with cancer, or some other emotional distress, we are here to guide you in your journey to overcome the challenges you may be experiencing. Please see our Psychotherapy-Services page for a comprehensive list of mental health issues we can help with.

Couples and Marriage Counseling

Dana Nolan is trained in the Gottman Method of couples therapy and has helped many couples learn ways to communicate more effectively with their partner to reduce conflict and to feel closer emotionally. Couples counseling is not an easy process and requires a safe and accepting environment to really explore the deeper issues that have lead to unhappy relationships. Dana provides that environment as well as compassionate, yet honest feedback and direct suggestions to couples in an effort to help the relationship become healthy and fulfilling.

Individual Counseling

In addition to counseling and psychotherapy, our Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Dana Nolan, conducts thorough and compassionate psychological assessments of clients who are dealing with complex immigration issues.
