Dana is an experienced licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with a wide range of clinical expertise. To fulfill a desire to work with families in crisis, she trained to become a Guardian ad Litem, Social Investigator and does psychological assessments for clients with immigration issues. She has presented at national and regional conferences including the Association of Oncology Social Work, National Organization of Rare Disorders, and the Dispute Resolution Conference. She has been interviewed on the radio and TV of a variety of mental health issues and on healthy behavior change.

In addition to private practice, Dana’s professional experience includes inpatient and outpatient counseling, clinical research, and professional education in both the United States and in Australia where she lived for 7 years.

She graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then went on for a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Western Washington University. To fulfill a desire to work with families dealing with divorce, she studied to become a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and a Qualified Parent Coordinator to assist parents learning how to co-parent in the aftermath of divorce.

When Dana is not working or involved with her childrens’ sports and music activities, she enjoys biking, jogging, swimming and scuba diving with her husband and sons.

Tejal is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Licensed Dietitian (LD/N) in the state of Florida. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Winthrop University in South Carolina and went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) in Nutrition and Dietetics at Georgia State University.

Tejal initially went into the field of clinical nutrition at an Orlando hospital and, though this was a rewarding experience, she quickly realized a more individual approach was the best way to truly achieve success in the area of health and wellness.

Her passion was realized more than 6 years ago when she started working with patients affected with cancer. A personalized approach with every person acheived greater results and, in turn, a better quality of living.

Numerous articles have been published in her name and she is an expert public speaker, not only in the area of cancer and nutrition, but also in healthy living for all. Working with numerous chefs, Tejal has created multiple nutrition classes that helped to combine the theory of eating well with the practice in your own kitchen.

Tejal is a wife and a mother of two young children. She loves to stay active and trains at a local Crossfit facility in Orlando. Her youngest son was born with swallowing difficulties and has a feeding tube which will soon be a distant memory as he continues to make huge improvements. A very real learning experience that provides immense empathy and knowledge to those in similar situations.
