This is Verdana 12pt–which is the one I think was the one you saw on the parenting page and picked…but I am not sure which is which anymore….Dana is an experienced licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with a wide range of clinical expertise. She is regularly asked to speak for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and many other community organizations. She has presented at national and regional conferences including the Association of Oncology Social Work, National Organization of Rare Disorders, and the Dispute Resolution Conference. She has been interviewed on the radio and TV of a variety of mental health issues and on healthy behavior change.
In addition to private practice, Dana’s professional experience includes, inpatient and outpatient counseling, clinical research, and professional education in both the United States and in Australia where she lived for 7 years.
She graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then went on for a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Western Washington University. To fulfill a desire to work with families dealing with divorce, she studied to become a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and a Qualified Parent Coordinator to assist parents learning how to co-parent in the aftermath of divorce.
When Dana is not working or involved with her childrens’ sports and music activities, she enjoys biking, jogging, swimming and scuba diving with her husband and sons.
